Hagar Pushing to Extend Winning Streak at Riverside International Speedway

Inside Line Promotions – MARION, Ark. (July 19, 2018) – Derek Hagar is aiming to boost his winning streak at Riverside International Speedway to five consecutive years with a triumph this Saturday.
The bullring in West Memphis, Ark., welcomes the ASCS Mid-South Region and Hagar is hungry for a victory.
“That’s our home track and we want to get the win,” he said. “We’ve won a lot of races there throughout the years and we’ve been running well recently so we have the confidence that we can win on Saturday.”
Hagar enters the weekend with a top-four result during 11 straight 360ci winged sprint car races, including three feature victories and eight podiums during that span.
“Confidence and momentum are key in having success racing sprint cars,” he said. “I feel like our team has a lot of confidence and momentum is on our side.”
Hagar has recorded three top-four results in 360 competition and one podium finish during 305 action at the track since he posted an 11th-place finish during the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series show there in April.
